Sad news this evening (Monday)...

Rod Roddy, the vivacious announcer on CBS' "The Price is Right" for many years, died today. I knew he had suffered from cancer, but not exactly which type. Upon reading the news on the above linked page, I was surprised to learn that not only did he have colon cancer, which was what I thought I remembered, but he had BREAST CANCER as well!
As I mentioned in my posting just over a week ago, MEN can get breast cancer too! Please, PLEASE, get checked out! Don't wait until a lump in your breast is so large as to be easily noticable. By then, survival rates decrease tremendously!
It's still Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Please, before the month ends, call to schedule a mammogram if you are 40 or older!
